The SEMEL Center is a unique project dedicated to supporting the safety, rights, and independence of individuals living with mental health challenges. It provides accessible, comprehensive, and personalized legal and social assistance to both individuals and their families, utilizing a variety of legal tools—including multidisciplinary teams—with a strong focus on respecting their dignity and autonomy while strengthening their support networks.

In addition, the program offers lectures and training sessions for people with mental health challenges, their families, and professionals, equipping them with the legal knowledge and tools needed to exercise their rights.

The development of the service was made possible thanks to support from the Special Fund of the National Insurance Institute and the contribution of additional foundations.
